Ice Cream Social 2017

We got together in July for our annual Ice Cream Social for ice cream and delicious desserts. It\’s always great to sit and chat with our fellow quilters.

Susan A was inspired by our May meeting, where we learned how to modify traditional quilt blocks and create something new. Great job!

Cassie makes amazing memory quilts. This one is made with pants and shirts.

This wonderfully wild quilt using Allison Glass fabrics is Jen Kingwell\’s \”Long Time Gone\” pattern. Made by Cassie.

Susan W has been working hard to complete wedding quilts for family. One lucky couple gets these purple stars.

Another couple will receive this wedding ring quilt. This is the first row completed by Susan W.

Karen has been hand quilting this wedding quilt. It is amazing – and almost done!

Jane has a few quilts ready for her booth display at QuiltCon for Studio 180. This frog quilt is very cute.

Jane improv pieced some fabric together, then used her rulers to cut these flying geese. We wish you the best at QuiltCon.

Carol had fun making this animal baby blanket. the pattern is \”Giggle and Squeek\” by Carrie Bloomston.

Carol put a row of houses on the back. So cute!

Michelle modified the Sew Together Bag to be a bag for her paintbrushes.
