Red Right Angles
by Elaine Romanelli
60” x 80”
2019

This quilt began with a single, pieced, improvisational block made up of all right angles.
Using over 30 different red fabrics, I continued piecing with individually designed blocks,
each of which use only right-angle piecing. The only other rule was to avoid piecing
lines that crossed the entire width or length of the quilt.

This quilt was selected to hang at QuiltCon 2022.
