Ben’s quilt I made for Christmas 2008
This bright colored star quilt with embroidery machine applique was given as a Christmas present in 2010.
His older brother got a much-wanted huge Lego Skull Pirate Ship. But when he saw his little brother’s quilt, he was disappointed in his Legos. The most logical thing to do was to ask him if he wanted a quilt for his birthday. His face lit up, especially when I said he could have any theme he wanted. He wanted a coral reef.
