Double Wedding Ring

I made this for my daughter who is getting married soon. She is a pretty traditional girl, but I tried to make it a little more modern by using batiks. I was aiming for a sea green quilt, but kept veering toward aqua. It does interest me how you can have such a spectrum of different colors in a quilt, but adding more of something or switching a couple things out can change how you perceive it. Each quilt I make gives me more appreciation for the power and complexity of color.
