TTMQG: Summer challenges
Announcing TWO summer challenges. Both can be done with other guild members in person, on zoom or individually. Both challenges will end November 2026 with show-n-tell of whatever you have completed by that time. Both challenges start June 11. Sign up at the May or June meeting or sign up through email to Katherine or Ann. For those in Tucson, we will have “watch parties” to watch the lessons together and will be working on the projects at the Cactus Quilt and Archer center sit-n-sews. If there is interest, we may do additional in person or zoom sit-n-sews.
Challenge One:
Scrap Cities: Architecture-Inspired Quilts – Cathy Perlmutter
This class given through C&T quilts, cost is $60. (Don’t pay yet, we are seeing if we might get a slight discount although it is not one of the courses C&T lists for a discount) There are seven videos so we’ll be watching 1-2 a month.
Challenge Two:
Ricky Tims Kool Kaleidoscope – This is a free you-tube 4 part course so we’ll work through them together once a month starting in Mid-June.
